They say be weary of love
it will bite you; you will fall
They say trust only yourself
They are lonely; They are wrong

love bites, and you fall
kiss the ground; bloody nosed
but roll over afterwards
and laugh forever; eyes closed

the bite is rough for some
the chase; out of control
we fall, but we're grinning
and They will never know
